A Weekend Camping with the Ecoflow Delta - Tom Groggin Station

Location:

Tom Groggin Station a NSW National Park Camping Area - On the Alpine way past Thredbo on the NSW/Victorian Border. A great open space with plenty of friendly Kangaroos who seemed quite inquisitive about the Delta.

Timing:

Early March 2020 (pre the virus and post the bushfires)

Weather:

Luckily we had a high pressure system that gave a few days sunshine (great for solar charging) and stable weather though temperatures were cool at night as we were above 1000m.

Camping:

The Delta made the camp a lot more comfortable - as a fully off grid camp we were able to run our camp fridge, boil water, make toast and even make an apple crumble in a lightwave convection oven!

We were able to recharge the power tool batteries that we use for camp lighting and keep the phones and computers charged as well. The Delta proved to be a truly versatile, quiet power solution. It was quite unique having access to both AC and DC power as we would not have been able to use a fuel powered generator at this National Park camping area.
