FAQs

If your questions is not listed below, please ask in the form below:

Can I run a rooftop air conditioner from a single 200Ah BluEdge?

Most 12V or inverter-driven rooftop caravan air conditioners draw 800W–1,200W. At that draw rate, a 200Ah / 2,560Wh battery provides 2–3 hours of continuous AC runtime — suitable for cooling down before sleep. For all-night AC, combine with solar or consider a 2× parallel bank for 400Ah total.

How much does this weigh and will it fit in a standard 200Ah battery tray?

The 12V 200Ah BluEdge standard model weighs approximately 24kg and shares the standard large-format ABS case. Check tray dimensions before ordering or order a tailored tray available for this battery by calling us.

What solar input do I need to fully recharge this in a day?

In good sun conditions across most of Australia, a 400W panel array will comfortably recharge the 200Ah daily. For a 0–100% recharge in 5–6 peak sun hours, you need approximately 400–500W of solar panel capacity with a suitably rated MPPT controller (40A+ recommended).

How does it compare to using two 100Ah batteries in parallel?

Performance is equivalent on paper, but a single 200Ah unit is simpler — fewer connection points, no parallel bus bars, and one BMS to monitor. Two 100Ah batteries with CANbus parallel communication offer the advantage of redundancy.

I have a bulk requirement for this batteries, do I get a wholesale pricing?
