FAQs

If your questions is not listed below, please ask in the form below:

Will it physically fit in my existing AGM battery tray without modification?

In most cases, yes. The Blade's 635 × 285 × 60mm footprint matches common deep-cycle AGM tray dimensions. Check your tray's internal length, width, and height clearance before ordering. The 60mm height is the key dimension — if your tray allows at least 65mm of vertical clearance, the Blade will fit with room for terminals.

Is 180A continuous enough to run an inverter?

At 180A continuous (approximately 2,300W), it will run a 1,500W–2,000W inverter at moderate load. For sustained heavy loads above 2,000W, consider the standard 12V 100Ah (200A/400A peak) or the 12V 200Ah. The Blade is best suited to auxiliary loads — fridges, lighting, pumps, and moderate inverter use.

Can I run two Blade batteries in parallel for 210Ah?

Yes, up to 4 units can be connected in parallel. Ensure cables are equal length and gauge between units for balanced current sharing. Note: parallel communication (gang monitoring via a single Bluetooth host) is not supported on this model — each battery is monitored individually.

How does this compare to a standard AGM replacement for my caravan?

The Blade weighs approximately half as much as an equivalent AGM, provides 100% usable capacity vs ~50% for AGM, and charges 3–4× faster. It also maintains flat voltage throughout discharge, so your appliances run at consistent power. The only trade-off is upfront cost, which is offset by the 10+ year service life versus 2–3 years for AGM.

Can I monitor the battery by mobile app?

Yes. You can use Amptron Link app to monitor the battery for ease. Either search "Amptron Link" or see the qr code in user manual.
