Using the Victron Orion-Tr DC-DC converter 12V to 24V is a solution to increase your vehicle charge rate to the power station by 2.5x. We have recently updated all DC DC models to the Victorn Orion Smart version, which monitors input voltage and by default we will program to turn off when the vehicle turns off (or alternator is not running).

This version is suitable for Bluetti Portable Power Stations. They are fited with the SP2110 Aviation output connector for plugging directly into the Bluetti DC Inputs. For some of the newer models, we can fit it with the DC Barrell connector (DC7909) - AC70, AC180, AC240 - please contact us if you require this fitted rather than the standard circular aviation connector 

The Bluetti DC inputs have similar amperage restrictions and slow charge rates from 12V sources. The same effect of increasing charge rates is found by increasing the chargers output voltage. 

This DC/DC is isolated meaning its safer to use if there is an issue on either the input or output side. The smart functionality also means you do not have to install additional ignition relays / solenoids.

An Anderson Connector is required in vehicle (see your local Auto-Electrician for this). This should have a 50a fuse on it and only operate when the engine is running (alternator supports charging).

Features of The Charger:

Remote on/off
The remote on/off eliminates the need for a high current switch in the input wiring. The remote on/off can be operated with a low power switch or by for example the engine run/stop switch.

Adjustable output voltage: can also be used as a battery charger
For example to charge a 12 Volt starter or accessory battery in an otherwise 24V system. 

All models are short circuit proof and can be paralleled to increase the output current.
An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel.
