FAQs
If your questions is not listed below, please ask in the form below:
Will this fit in my existing AGM battery tray without modification?
Yes. The AT-LFP-12-150-BT-BV03 is built to BCI Group 31 dimensions (330 x 172 x 216mm), matching the most common deep-cycle AGM tray size used in 4x4 canopies, caravans, and marine battery boxes. Terminal positions are standard M8, so existing cables connect directly. No cutting, drilling, or rewiring needed in most installations.
What app do I use to monitor it via Bluetooth, and what can I see?
Connect using the Amptron Link App (free on iOS and Android). The app shows real-time state of charge (%), voltage, current draw, temperature, and individual cell voltages. Bluetooth range is approximately 10 metres. Note this model does not have CANbus or RS485, so it does not integrate directly with Victron GX devices. For Victron integration, the BluEdge range is recommended.
Can I run a 2,000W inverter from this battery?
At 200A continuous (approximately 2,560W at 12.8V), yes. A 2,000W inverter at full load draws around 170A, which sits comfortably within the continuous rating. Ensure your cable and fusing are appropriately sized (minimum 200A ANL fuse, 35mm² cable recommended). The 300A peak handles brief startup surges from inductive loads like compressor motors.
Is my existing lead-acid charger compatible, or do I need a new one?
You need a charger with a LiFePO4 charge profile (14.4V to 14.6V charge voltage for 12V). Standard AGM and wet-cell chargers are not compatible and can cause BMS cutout or reduce cycle life over time. Amptron's 12V 30A LiFePO4 charger is a recommended accessory and fully charges this battery in approximately 5 hours.
Can I connect multiple batteries in parallel or series?
Yes. Up to 4 units can be connected in parallel for up to 600Ah, or in series for 24V, 36V, or 48V configurations (max 4 in series). When connecting in parallel, use equal-length cables of the same gauge for balanced current sharing. Series configuration requires compatible BMS communication settings. Contact Amptron's technical team for guidance on multi-battery builds.
